Se retira miembro clave del equipo de inmigración de la Casa Blanca
Esther Olavarria, subdirectora de inmigración del Consejo de Política Nacional (DPC) de la administración Biden, se retira de su cargo.
Un portavoz de la Casa Blanca confirmó a Politico y CNN la salida pendiente de Olavarria de su cargo.
“No podría estar más agradecido por las innumerables contribuciones de Esther Olavarria a la Administración Biden-Harris, en particular su trabajo para revertir las políticas crueles e imprudentes de la Administración anterior y para implementar la visión del presidente Biden de un sistema de inmigración justo, ordenado y humano. ”, dijo la directora de DPC, Susan Rice, en un comunicado a Politico.
Una fuente le dijo a Politico que Olavarria no ha decidido cuándo será su último día en la Casa Blanca y continuará trabajando con la administración por el momento.
Esto se produce cuando Tyler Moran, un asesor principal sobre migración, se irá este mes después de pasar aproximadamente seis meses con la administración de Biden.
