Tiroteo en París: tres muertos y varios heridos en atentado
Un hombre armado abrió fuego en el centro de París, matando a tres personas e hiriendo a otras tres.
El atacante apuntó a un centro cultural kurdo y disparó a miembros de la comunidad local. Se investiga un posible motivo racista.
Un sospechoso, de 69 años, fue arrestado rápidamente y pronto se supo que había sido liberado de prisión recientemente.
Más tarde estallaron enfrentamientos entre la policía y un grupo que se había reunido en el lugar después del ataque.
Las imágenes mostraban a personas iniciando incendios en medio de la calle y rompiendo ventanas de automóviles, mientras que agentes vestidos con equipo antidisturbios respondían lanzando gases lacrimógenos.
Los disturbios se produjeron después de que un hombre, descrito por testigos como alto, blanco y anciano, matara a tiros a dos hombres y una mujer en la Rue d’Enghien, en el distrito 10 de París.
De las tres personas heridas, se dijo que una estaba en estado crítico y las otras estaban recibiendo tratamiento por lesiones graves.
No hay un motivo confirmado para el tiroteo, pero la fiscal de París, Laure Beccuau, dijo que el sospechoso había sido acusado anteriormente de violencia racista.
Ese incidente, en el que atacó tiendas de campaña en un campamento de inmigrantes en París con una espada, tuvo lugar en Bercy el 8 de diciembre de 2021. No estaba claro por qué había sido liberado recientemente.
