Presidente de Túnez prorroga la suspensión del parlamento
El presidente de Túnez, Kais Saied, extendió «hasta nueva orden» la suspensión del parlamento vigente desde el 25 de julio, una decisión que había sido calificada como un golpe de estado por sus adversarios.
Según un breve comunicado divulgado por la presidencia, en el decreto se prolongan las medidas de excepción relativas a la suspensión de las actividades de todos los diputados hasta nueva orden, sin aportar más detalles.
La medida inicialmente debía regir por 30 días, luego que el pasado 25 de julio, Saied invocara la constitución para atribuirse plenos poderes, destituir al jefe de gobierno y suspender el parlamento durante 30 días.
Tras estos anuncios, el presidente Saied no ha designado un nuevo gobierno ni ha presentado su «hoja de ruta», reclamados por partidos políticos y organizaciones de la sociedad civil.
