Receta de ARROZ CONGRÍ CUBANO
INGREDIENTES:
2 tazas Arroz blanco grano largo
1 taza Frijoles colorados
4 Dientes de ajo machacado
5 Chicharrones
1 Cebolla mediana y picada en cubitos
1/2 Pimiento rojo o verde en cubitos
1/2 cucharada Orégano molido
1 trozo tocino cortado en tiritas
1 trozo chorizo picado en cubos
3 cucharadas aceite vegetal
Sal al gusto.
ELABORACIÓN:
En primer lugar, lava los frijoles, llévalos a fuego en una olla con 3 tazas de agua y añade el laurel y el orégano hasta ablandar.
La idea es que no queden totalmente blandos para que no se desbaraten.
Cuando los frijoles de tu arroz congrí estén casi blandos, retira del fuego y reserva
Seguidamente, lava muy bien el arroz y deja escurrir para posteriormente reservar
Luego, en una sartén sofríe por 5 minutos el ajo, la cebolla, el pimiento, el tocino, los chicharrones, el chorizo y también el comino
Cuando esté listo el sofrito, incorpora además el arroz lavado, mezcla muy bien y seguidamente traslada el preparado a una olla arrocera
Finalmente agrega los frijoles con todo su caldo, sal al gusto y se mezcla para dejar cocinando por unos minutos.
