El brote de COVID cierra las escuelas del condado de Glades
Las escuelas del condado de Glades cambiarán a una plataforma en línea (E-Learning) hasta febrero.
Hoy, la Dra. Alice Beth Barfield, superintendente de escuelas del condado de Glades, envió un aviso a los padres anunciando que el distrito cambiaría al aprendizaje virtual debido a un brote de coronavirus.

Queridos padres,
Primero, permítanme agradecerles su apoyo y comprensión mientras nosotros, como nación y comunidad, respondemos a la inesperada invasión de COVID-19. Si bien estamos en el negocio de la educación, nuestra primera prioridad es la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y empleados.
El Distrito Escolar del Condado de Glades fue notificado el lunes por la mañana, 19/1/2021, que los casos han aumentado sustancialmente en los últimos cinco días, lo que ha hecho que los estudiantes y miembros del personal sean enviados a casa como caso positivo o contacto directo. Como puede imaginar, esto es algo que nos estamos tomando muy en serio y que estamos tratando en consecuencia. Le pedimos que continúe cumpliendo con el distanciamiento social y otras precauciones de salud. Estamos trabajando diligentemente con el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Glades para garantizar una notificación rápida y eficiente de todos los casos.
A partir del 20 de enero de 2021, cambiaremos a una plataforma en línea (E-Learning) hasta el 1 de febrero de 2021. Aunque nuestro deseo es permanecer en la escuela como de costumbre (tradicional) con procedimientos mejorados de seguridad y limpieza, los números no Apoyar ese estilo de aprendizaje.
