Opositor israelí Yair Lapid afirma contar con los apoyos para formar un gobierno

El jefe de la oposición de Israel, Yair Lapid, llamó este miércoles por la noche al presidente de israelí para anunciar que consiguió los apoyos necesarios para la formación de un gobierno de coalición anti-Netanyahu, indicó su oficina en un comunicado.
El centrista Lapid, que tenía plazo hasta las 11:59 de la noche, realizó este anuncio después de formalizar durante la noche el apoyo de partidos de derecha y la formación árabe Raam a su futuro gobierno.
Su equipo difundió una imagen de este acuerdo de coalición firmado por los jefes de ocho partidos israelíes –dos de izquierda, dos de centro, tres de derecha y un árabe–, que podría marcar un punto de inflexión en la historia política de Israel.
La última vez que un partido árabe apoyó un ejecutivo, aunque sin entrar en él, remonta a 1992, al entonces «gobierno de la paz» de Isaac Rabin.
En esta ocasión, la formación Raam, del islamista Mansur Abas, no indicó si participará activamente en el gobierno.
«Este gobierno estará al servicio de todos los ciudadanos de Israel, incluidos aquellos que no son miembros, respetará a aquellos que se oponen y hará todo lo posible para unir» a la sociedad israelí, declaró Lapid al presidente, según el comunicado.
El futuro gobierno, que no contará con el Likud de Netanyahu después de 12 años consecutivos en el poder, debe recabar el apoyo del Parlamento, en principio la próxima semana.
