Los defensores responden a los planes del alcalde de Sacramento de exigir viviendas para personas sin hogar

Entonces, ¿qué significa eso de emprender una acción civil contra una persona sin hogar?» preguntó Bob Erlenbusch de la Coalición Regional de Sacramento para Poner Fin a las Personas sin Hogar.
Si bien aún no ha descubierto cuál debería ser esa sanción, el alcalde dijo que el remedio probablemente sea algo educativo o similar al tratamiento.
En abril, un juez federal ordenó a la ciudad de Los Ángeles que ofreciera algún tipo de refugio o vivienda a toda la población sin hogar de Skid Row para octubre. Steinberg dijo que Sacramento no debería esperar a que un juez intervenga con una orden judicial.

El alcalde dijo que espera que la ordenanza de la ciudad se complete en los próximos meses.
