El gobernador DeSantis anuncia fondos para las víctimas del huracán Ian
El gobernador Ron DeSantis está en Punta Gorda el lunes para anunciar fondos para las víctimas del huracán Ian.
El estado está proporcionando hasta $25 millones a través de fondos estatales para ayudar con los materiales de construcción para ayudar a las organizaciones sin fines de lucro verificadas a restaurar las viviendas dañadas a condiciones habitables para las personas afectadas por la tormenta.
Se recaudaron $57 millones para el Fondo de Desastres de Florida.
Más de $35,2 millones de ese programa ahora ayudarán a respaldar el programa de reparación de viviendas del estado y seguirán ayudando a aquellos con necesidades insatisfechas a través del Florida Disaster Relief Fund.
A él se unieron la Primera Dama Casey DeSantis y el Director de la División de Manejo de Emergencias Kevin Guthrie.
La conferencia de prensa se llevó a cabo en el American Legion Post #103 en 2101 Taylor Road en el área de preparación de Team Rubicon.
